Mix the ground coffee, water, and sugar in a coffee pot (cezve). Then put the cezve on low heat. Allow time for it to cook slowly, but keep an eye out, as the coffee may overflow shortly after simmering.
Coffee will be froth up on top just before it simmers. Using a spoon, divide these froth into small cups (fincan).
When the coffee is simmering, it's time to serve. Pour the coffee from the cezve into the fincans.
