Jasmine Milk Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. of jasmine loose-leaf tea
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 cup of milk of choice
  • 2 tablespoons of agave or sweetener of choice
  • Ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup of boba or tapioca pearls

Instructions

  • Boil 2 cups of water in a small pot. Turn off the heat and let it sit for a minute (the water should be set to 175°F. Add the jasmine tea leaves. Cover the pot and let it steep for 3-5 minutes, or until the tea is fragrant and flavorful.
  • Strain the tea to remove the leaves and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Cook the boba or tapioca pearls according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse with cold water.
  • In a separate container, mix 1 cup of milk and 2 tablespoons of agave.
  • Divide the cooled jasmine tea into two glasses filled with ice cubes.
  • Add cooked boba or tapioca pearls to each glass.
  • Slowly pour the milk and agave mixture over the top of the tea and boba.
  • Use a spoon or stirrer to mix the tea, milk, and boba together. Enjoy!
