Ingredients

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 hot dog sausages
  • 1 large avocado peeled and pitted
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup sauerkraut drained
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat grill or stovetop pan to medium heat.
  • Mash avocado in a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  • Grill sausages for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Warm buns on grill or in oven for 2-3 minutes.
  • Spread avocado mixture inside each bun.
  • Place a sausage in each bun; top with sauerkraut, tomatoes, and onions.
  • Serve immediately.
